VirtuaNES is a great NES emulator by Norix. The site is natively in Japanese, but an English translation of the program is available. Here's what's new:
    Additions
  • Added an IPS patching function
  • Added Mapper 27
  • Added hq2x/lq2x filter
  • Added an AVI conversion function. Please refer to AVIconv.txt for details

  • Changed the font of language plugin
  • Some speedup
  • When the right mouse button is pressed when using the Zapper, it changes the screen to become the same as when you push the left button outside


    • Revisions
  • Increased the queue buffer for sound
  • Corrected the IRQ timing of DPCM
  • You now take damage correctly in Gun Sight (J)
  • Corrected when a color didn't change by a monochromatic/whole color change in full screen/8 bit color
  • An option of "Using Sleep" corrects what isn't saved
  • Corrected a problem of snapshots in monochromatic mode
  • Corrected Mapper 16
  • Corrected Mapper 33
