SonED for Windows has been updated to v.26b. Here's what's new: - Object Listing system, in which object descriptions and images (to be displayed within the editor) are maintained within relatively easy-to-edit list files for easy updates. - ROM Header info (checksum, ROM capacity) is fixed when file is saved - Supports and converts between *.bin, *.smd, *.md/*.mgd and *.1 formats. - Supports triangluar bumpers in Sonic 2's Casino Night - Finally added writing of all save-state data for all games - Tile/Palette editor added, works just like DOS version - Tile selection list within Tile/Palette editor - PCX image viewer within Tile/Palette editor (use screenshots to see how your new palettes affect the game) - Ability to read/write all standard palettes in ROMs for all games (certain nonstandard palettes still need implementing) - Ability to edit Object Placement, Level Layout, and Palettes in Sonic 2 "Beta" ROM - Bugfix (Lava Reef 3 and HPZ were mixed up, now fixed) - Bugfix (There would ALWAYS be a [nonexistant] CNZ special bumper at the top-left of any level in any game. now fixed) - Bugfix (as of the last version, all files had to be in the SonED folder for the program to run. now fixed) - Editor hotkeys: I- Go to Tile Editor O- Go to Object Editor P- Go to Level Editor (Plane A) - Adjust the scrolling speed of the arrow keys from 16 pixels to up to 256 pixels (will help those of you for whom it runs slightly slow) You can pick it up from out Facelift Utilities page.
