PS3 Deals
posted in Video Game News by swampgas on Jun 13th, 2001It seems as though Sony is not taking any vacation time...they're already making deals for the PS3. Jasper sent in a link to an article on the BBC about the latest PS3 deal between Sony and IBM. They'll be creating the CPUs for the unit, beating out Toshiba who made the "emotion chip" for the PS2. IBM is working on the chip to have components 10,000th the size of a human hair and to be "fundamentally different"...good luck emulating it :) It also appears that the PS3 will be "broadband-friendly". Of course, none of this starts until 2004 :)
