Message boards down
posted in Site News by swampgas on May 20th, 2002Simply put: our boards are too popular :) With having up to 50 people viewing it at once, it consumes a lot of resources, which crippled our host's servers (which explains yesterday's down time). I'm working with our host's system administrator on making changes to the message board software to fix it...should be back online tomorrow. Update: After a few hours of debugging, I found the problem...under VERY rare circumstances, a flaw in the code exists that would loop the board software and crash the web server from the strain. It's fixed...
