Maximus Arcade, the multiple console frontend best suited for a cabinet-based system, has been updated to version 2.03. Here is what's new: Added a screensaver option - Screensaver launches an emulator based on user choice (specific or randomly from all setup) - An optional field to disable certain games by their title description - Field to enter time of inactivity until screensaver activates - Field to enter amount of time for game activity before switching to another game - User only has to press a button/key to stop screensaver to begin playing active game - Pressing the PREVIOUS/QUIT EXECUTABLE key returns user to the last accessed game menu in MA - A work in progress Intellivision Updates - Added scan support for *.ROM and *.INT - Zipped ROMS are now uncompressed into the "cache" directory before opened with the emulator Atari 2600 Updates - Added support for Stella 1.4 emulator - Zipped ROMS are now uncompressed into the "cache" directory before opened with the emulator Other Revisions - Disabled command keys while MA is a background task - Added sensitivity settings to the joystick/gamepad and mouse/trackball - Added support for ZINC 1.02 - a rescan of current ROMS recommended - Added Atari 7800 and support through MESS emulator - Split GameBoy and GameBoy Color into separate options - Split Game Gear and Sega Master System into separate options - Added option to switch to 8/16/32-bit color (for the people with arcade monitors) - MP3 "free play" after certain time of inactivity is now adjustable - Numerous skin updates for both default skins - Cursor is moved off screen after the selection of media - No longer scanning bios files for ZINC and Neo Geo - Fixed MP3 looping problem - Fixed issue where upper case media extensions weren't scanned - Fixed issue where shutdown command may not completely shutdown the computer - Reorganized the preferences window - Miscellaneous bug fixes You can snag a copy of Maximus Arcade v2.03 at the Universal/Multiple System Frontend page.
