Linux on the Playstation
posted in Video Game News by swampgas on Jun 1st, 2001Sooner or later it would happen...someone has ported Linux over to the Playstation. It's entitled Runix, and it uses the 2.4 kernel. They're shooting for a beta in July and a stable release by October. It was also announced that they were working on a PS2 port, but no date was given. 3 words here people: Mame on PS2. Everyone seems to be reporting the news, so the Runix site is all but unreachable...if anyone knows any mirrors or has additional information, you know how to contact us :)
