GameBoyEmu Update

posted in Emulator Release by akilla on Mar 12th, 2001

GameBoyEmu, a Java GameBoy Emulator, has been updated. This is quite an extensive update and includes the following:
  • New Layout this should stop people "loosing" the applet behind windows
  • Big speed increase
  • Compatibility increase
  • Many more roms to play
  • Far less crashes
  • No corruption when switching between color and black and white roms
  • Zip file support - roms load faster
  • Can change roms during play
  • The ability to colorize black and white games by selecting palette editor from the options menu. Choose super mario land to see this effect in action.
  • Removed debug modes as I only use that to get roms working
  • Can change the keys used by selecting key configurator from the options menu Go give it a shot at the Java GameBoy Emulators page.
