GameBoyEmu Update
posted in Emulator Release by akilla on Mar 12th, 2001
GameBoyEmu, a Java GameBoy Emulator, has been updated.
This is quite an extensive update and includes the following:
New Layout this should stop people "loosing" the applet behind windows
Big speed increase
Compatibility increase
Many more roms to play
Far less crashes
No corruption when switching between color and black and white roms
Zip file support - roms load faster
Can change roms during play
The ability to colorize black and white games by selecting palette editor from the options menu. Choose super mario land to see this effect in action.
Removed debug modes as I only use that to get roms working
Can change the keys used by selecting key configurator from the options menu
Go give it a shot at the Java GameBoy Emulators page.
