A new version of ClrMAMEPro has been released. New to this release:
  • New profile system (Profiler, new Settingsformat, major clean-up) Fixed: - Rebuilder browse-destination enable/disable issue - Another rebuilder-paths check issue - Assertion in sysdefpathscontrol
  • Merger is now crc based
  • Import mame.cfg supports the new mame.ini
  • Rebuilder work-around for wrong MAME bad dumps
  • Warnings window for scanner, rebuilder and merger
  • Email, docs and homepage buttons in the about window
  • Message while looking for unneeded sets and you can stop that operation more easily
  • Create 0-crc won't be enabled/disabled by fastscan anymore
  • Changed a lot default settings
  • You don't have to do a scan for 'save missing list' and remembers the save-folder now.
  • Many GUI changes
  • Stay on top is now in the popup menu
  • Popup menu appears always (not only when an item is displayed)
  • Empty rebuilder source/destinationpaths aren't allowed
  • Clearing of outputwindowstatusline
  • No more double display of 'file xyz is used by a different program'
  • progressdlg isn't linked to scanresultsdlg anymore...
  • 'wrong merged' messages show full pathname now
  • Automatic correction of some more romlist bugs (better handling of some pacmame problems)
  • New engine.cfg (pinmame support)
  • New 'ignore' command for engine.cfg
  • Better windows position check
  • alt.samplesfolder-display in setname only when 'samples' is enabled Removed: - path warings -- enabled by default - fix unneeded advanced -- use the rebuilder for that - strict zipscanner -- always enabled (messages in warnings window) - no zipmessages -- messages in warnings window, only important ones are displayed in a messagebox - hide fixed -- enabled by default - alt.samplesfolder -- enabled by default - adv. unneeded -- enabled by default - rebuilderpaths -- rebuilder uses addpaths now - miscpaths -- hmmm...did anyone use them anyway ? :o It can be downloaded from the Arcade Utilities page.
