Bliss v1.01

posted in Emulator Release by dhalamar on Dec 11th, 2000

Bliss v1.01 was released.

Bliss v1.01 "Easier to Use" version released. I added a front-end that should make Bliss much easier to use for less experienced users. It's not much, but you can take a look at a screen shot of it here. Now you can just put your ROM files in the 'roms' subdirectory and Bliss will find them and show them in the user interface. Then you can just double-click on the game you want to play. This release also includes the improved sound emulation (approximately 80% complete). Thanks go to Rob van der Drift, maker of the GoodXXX tools, whose GoodINTV list I plundered for the game list shown in the front end. I should also mention that Windows 9x/NT/2000 users who downloaded the previous Win32 version of Bliss only need to download the "Pure Java" zip file and unzip it into the same location to update to the latest v1.01 version. Let me know how it goes. :-)

You can download it from our Intellivision Emulators section.
