Barcode help!
posted in Misc. News by swampgas on Jul 31st, 2001I'll be honest. The ZD Store is doing quite well. But that means there's LOTS of work involved. To help decrease my work load, I'd like to get a bar code scanner which enters data like it was typed on the keyboard. Much easier than looking up order numbers, typing them in, reading 20 digit delivery confirmation numbers, typing them in, etc. If anyone would be willing to send me a new or used barcode scanner and point me in the direction of appropriate software, email me (DO NOT SUBMIT NEWS). I'll pay for shipping, but I'm NOT looking to purchase anything. Update: I should point out that I don't want a CueCat...it's a piece of trash that requires hacking to get it to work without its own software.
