Well, it is August, the middle of summer. Summer can be a slow time for classic gamers, so I am pleased to bring three (long overdue) episodes of the Back In Time webcast. First off is the "Father of Computer Games" Sid Meier from PhillyClassic 4. Sid appeared briefly on the E3 webcast in 2001, and I am pleased to say I was able to have a more in-depth conversation with him this time around. The second episode is from the 5th Annual Funspot classic coin-op tournament. The third episode is from PhillyClassic 5 featuring Howard Scott Warshaw. Howard was a blast, and he speaks at length about the development of games like Yars Revenge, E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Saboteur. Howard also explains his theory on why Steven Spielberg is an alien. Sid Meier and Howard Scott Warshaw were recorded in front of a live audience. Be sure to check them out!!! These .MP3 files are kind of large, so a broadband connection is recommended.
