posted in Emulator Release by narvick on Jun 18th, 2003

A new version of AdvanceMAME was relased. This version of MAME has better video support for all kinds of different displays, as well as a few other improvements. It's been updated with the latest MAME release. What's new:
  • Added some patches for Linux 2.4.20 Frame Buffer for ATI Radeon and nVidia GeForce boards to improve the support of low clock video modes
  • Added some patches for SVGALIB 1.9.17 and nVidia GeForce boards to improve the support of low clock video modes. These patches are integrated in the DOS and Windows SVGALIB versions
  • Fixed the sound recording broken in v0.68.0
  • The MAME sound emulation is activated also if the "none" sound device is chosen
  • The SIGPIPE signal is no more redirected
  • The SIGHUP signal now quits the program without aborting
  • Reduced the sound buffer length for the ALSA driver
  • Removed the legacy support for the "mame.cfg" configuration file
Get it at either the MAME Emulators or the MAME Emulators for Unix section, whichever flavor you prefer
