| Star Soldier Alternative Graphics Patch | In the US version of Star Soldier, there are two separate sets of pattern tables: one is shown during normal play, before you beat the game, and the other is shown after you beat the game. While the first set consists mostly of robotic-looking insects and other animal-like creatures, the second set looks almost like a sci-fi thriller, with exploding heads, alien faces, floating eyeballs, and the like (and the Starbrain looks very organic, with skulls, veins, and eyeballs). Since the game is fairly hard to beat, and the ending is really lame anyway, I decided to put the alternate pattern tables in place of the primary ones, so I wouldn't have to go through the entire game to see them. |
