| Pokemon Birbs Of Prey | A Halloween Romhack of Pokemon Ruby. On the quest to collect all 8 gym badges, and defeat the Pokemon League, Bird Pokemon are inexplicably more aggressive, and have overrun all of Hoenn. The very first battle is an attack from a spearow, whom seems to hold onto a grudge. The game is much harder: No EXP by all intents and purposes, no EVS, and no items. As for the enemies, the main ones are the vicious Bird Pokemon, with crazy attacks and stats. Catching 386 Pokemon is impossible because of this phenomenon. None of the wild birds are catchable, and some have to be warded off at all costs with a specific defensive item. The worst ones are the flock of birds that if they see their prey, they will attack more intelligently, and rather unfairly. Unlike Zombies, they can be found anywhere, and no place is safe. To survive, capture as much pokemon as possible. Only one of the three unique starters can be chosen: Pikachu, Kirlia, or Beldum. There are four kinds of battles, - The very rare trainer battles, that merely battle for survival and currency. - The beatable, but difficult Bird fights, whom inexplicably launch pokeballs. - The avoidable, but unbeatable (by all intents and purposes) battles. - The Boss Birds, the most difficult gateway fights. The goal is to survive, as far as possible. |
