Lillymon pisses me off. All she ever does is troll. I don't think a high post count or former staff status should make users immune to the rules. If a new user pulled the shit Lillymon does on a constant basis, they wouldn't last a week.
At least keep her out of the backroom. She never contributes to the convos, she just looks to start up trouble.

She oftentimes has good, interesting things to say aboout emulation (which is what this community's supposed to be about) considering she's been "on the scene" for years. On the other had, the way the deals with people's views on touchy sublecs like politics and religion can only be described as sick. If she said almost any of the things she says on the boards about politics or regligion to a person sitting in front of her, she's probably wind up with her ass being handed back to her in a tin can. There's a wrench in her gears somewhere, and weather or not she chooses to pull it out, action needs to be taken to prevent her from being deliberately inflammatory toward other members' views.

Although I'm usually one of the trolls, I have to agree. The posts by a lot of people, not just Lillymon, would have been ban-worthy a two years ago.

Which is more of a good reason to dispense with that (Backroom) forum. Talk of the Town is sufficiant for "general" topics. But that's just my opinion.
Bannings cause more trouble than they're worth, IMO. I agree that there are extreme cases in which it's necessary, but I definitely don't favor any kind of cracking down. I'm going to be really peeved if friends start getting banned and there's another mass exodus from this board.
I think this post is unnecessary. If you have a problem with an individual, take it to a PM with a moderator, and don't bring it to the attention to the whole community why this person pisses you off and why he/she should be banned, etc. Real mature, ace.
We know she trolls. She's always trolled. She's also now a TWO time former staff member due to piss poor performance. But besides all of that, I haven't seen her post much in the last while.
Yeah, she's a bit of a pain sometimes. She's like a hunter with a gun and Danoz will put on a pair of deer antlers just to make her take a shot.
Look, if we ban everyone who breaks the rules half of 'em wouldn't be here. Everyone gets warned.
As far as Backroom is concerned, it's a little looser. Do I think she trolls? Not all the time. Besides, I'm more watchful of people who've posted ISO's or Serials and gotten off with just a warning.
I haven't even seen any of her posts, but if she's a girl, then she can get away with anything around nerds. I'd be surprised if she actually was a girl, not just some dude. either way she's pry an attention whore, so who gives a fuck.
