Zophar's Domain hosted a Mario Paint Contest
from July 9th to July 15th, 2001 in which people used the program's built-in composer
to create their own tunes and enter them to compete for a prize. When the submission deadline was reached,
the entries were judged by Death Adder and Zophar.
The winner earned $50 spending credit at the ZD Store.
Much fun was had going through and listening to all of the entries, and
we want to make sure that our loyal fans have the same opportunity.
As such, we have made each of the entries available on this page. The
winner and honorable mentions are listed first, followed (in no
particular order) by the other submissions. All compositions are
stored in ZSNES save state format.
This contest was just one of the many fun and exciting events often
hosted by Zophar's Domain. We are very grateful to those who take part
in these events, and would like to thank everyone who entered this
contest.
