Atari Lynx Emulators
<< Go to Windows/DOS systems list
| Name | Description |
| Handy | Handy is the best Lynx emulator currently. It has sound support (uses DirectSound), and can run most commercial Lynx games. It's moderately fast, especially with the full screen DirectX mode, and can attain full speed on a P166 or higher at 1X resolution. The source code is freely available. |
| MetaLynx | MetaLynx is written in 100% assembly, so it can run the 1 game it does play (which is a homebrewn game, Lode Runner) at a great speed. It can also show the intro screens to most commercial games. They are not playable, however, and there is still no sound support yet. |
