Name	Description
FBZX	This spectrum emulator uses the SDL library to emulate the original spectrum, the classic 128K, the Amstrad Plus 2, and the Amstrad Plus 2A. It's based on the Spectrum emulator for DOS, Z80. The emulation is extremely accurate and there are many features, including savestates, joystick, and TAP tape file support.You need the SDL library to run this.
Fuse	Fuse is a great Spectrum emulator which features the following: Accurate emulation of the 48K/128K/+2 and +2A Speccys, running at true Speccy speed on almost any computer you're likely to try it on (it even gets to full speed on my SparcStation 4, unless you try do much graphics intensive stuff). Sound under Linux (or any other OS with the Open Sound System). You can also download an associated set of utilities for manipulating ZX Spectrum emulator files.
Glukalka	This is a Sinclair ZX Spectrum Emulator for Linux. Currently it requires an IBM PC compatible computer. X Server with MIT-SHM extention and Motif 1.2 (at development was used LessTif) are also required.
QLAY	This is a freeware Sinclair QL emulator that emulates all the original I/O of the original QL, and it can access files directly on from your HD. There are no plans on emulating stuff like the disk drives, hard drives, video cards, etc, but it's still a good emulator, try it. These ROMs are needed to run the emulator. This is a patched version of the JS ROM to allow 4 Megabytes of emulated RAM.
UQLX	This emulator is based on the source code of Q-emuLator, a shareware QL emulator for Windows, but the Unix version is freeware and has been updated more recently than the Windows version.
XZX-Pro	Tons of features...check out the home page for a full list. It's shareware, and registration is US$25. Definitely worth a look.
zxsp	ZX Spectrum emulator for Intel-based linux with X11 windows system. Requires the QT library. (e.g. for KDE desktop) Requires OSS for sound.
zxsp-x	ZX Spectrum emulator for Linux with X11 windows system. Requires OSS for sound.
