My first reaction was:
WHAT THE FUCK????!!!!! ARE YOU GODDAMN NUTS???!!!!!
But after seeing Nintendo's flash movie, I kind of understand what they're doing.
Nintendo is going for something simple and iconic. Is iPod a good name? It BECAME one. Time will tell if this can work, but Nintendo is clearly trying to make something VERY mass market right now.

I like it. "Revolution" is way too pretentious. "Wii" is just silly and "real" gamers won't like it. "Wii" is right up Nintendo's alley.
