This is on about 5,000 computers from all over the state. I'm not talking about me at home...this is for my company.

<strike>Have you tried the various hacks using a different PNG? Do the PNGs that you're currently using look fine in FireFox? I'm not suggesting your users switch here, just curious if your PNGs are broken for some reason.</strike>

Nevermind that, you know they work in IE7 already. I'm inclined to think it has something to do with the layout/style of the page and not the hacks themselves.

But when I directly apply a style to it, that style should supersede all the other css info.

When the hell is MS going to push ie7 as an auto update? It's 2000000000000 times better.

Lets see, give away a great browser or make people buy vista and get the browser gee what would I do if I was microsoft. Hell I think microsoft is putting out some of those exploits and stuff so people will go to vista. I think myself they should be made to fix all the flaws in xp and ie6 for the people that paid for them but the support even for xp sp1 is about to end soon itself so those people will be on thier own. Microsoft cares about one thing, huge profits and will do anything they can get away with to make them. <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>

Yeah. Maybe I'm still not grasping your problem. Is the png's only issue its transparency, or is it not showing up at all? If you were to replace the png with a jpg or gif, does it show up on your page in IE6 exactly as you would expect a gif or jpg to show up. That is, would the image appear above the layers you expect to be above and be aligned to where your style tells it to be aligned?
