VCD software

I downloaded a VCD and i dont want to waste cds to burn the movie so I can watch it:

I wish they would have just shared it as a AVI, is there a program that will play VCDs? I have daemon tools so I got it loaded as a virtual CD but nothing to play it with <img src=smilies/cwm10.gif>

Did you know that vcds are just plain jane mpgs? rename the .dat files to .mpg or drag and drop them into media player, you should be able to play the movie minus the menu stuff...
