Save to / Recent folders

I remember there was a tool that came with Norton Utilities that added a Recent Folders option to all Save To and Open File dialog boxes, which made it a lot easier to navigate to commonly used folders without having to manually browse to them. Are there any standalone programs (or at least non-bloated packages) that do the same thing?

I assume you want this functionality from with your browser (which you did not specify)
