PSP network access question

I have a PSP, and I don't have a wi-fi router so I can't access the internet from it at home, but I do have a wi-fi card for my laptop.

So I was wondering... if I connect my laptop to my wired router, would it be possible in any way to use it as a gateway for my PSP via its wi-fi card? I'm not asking for my hand to be held through the process, I just want to know if it's possible. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome too. <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>

If your wireless card supports Host AP mode, you can use a special driver to do exactly what you want.

Installed it about a week ago and it works very well so far. The No-UMD mode is excellent.

I just looked into it, and apparently a Prism chipset-based wi-fi card is required to make use of the HostAP driver (which I think is the one you were talking about). I only have a Uniden PCW-100 card, which doesn't seem to be compatible, so no luck as of yet.

Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated.
