New Dreamcast Emulator!

There's a new dreamcast emulator out. Not an update of chankast, which showed so much promise ages ago, but a brand new entry, called nullDC For comparison, the latest official chankast couldn't run Code Veronica on my computer. nullDC gives me a steady 24 or so FPS (and up to fifty in some rooms). I just learned of it today, so I thought I'd spread the word.

Of course, those of you with better computers than mine (a yucky northwood p4 1.8ghz) will see much better results, reports say full speed on most games. Chankast was capable of such, but it required much more powerful hardware.

While I have a solid dreamcast that I use, this is also very convenient for those games that I had difficulty burning, like Code Veronica, or Ecco, etc. Also, it can be used on a decent laptop, which makes the dreamcast mobile. It's still a little rough, but it's already shaping up much better than Chankast, and this is the first release.

Unfortunately, no. I've actually just been using the keyboard right now because i dont have an adapter or pad, so I haven't really bothered to look.

You can use a free utility called joy2key which maps the joy pad button pushes to keystrokes on the keyboard. I use this for pc games with no joypad support but it works for nullDC as well.

I actually found out about nullDC on April 1st (how suspicious was that?)
