Nah, I doubt it was coordinated. As Spacetiger said, some poor sap is probably going to get canned for this. A little program? Yeah. Somebody probably threw together some sounds on their home computer with the pirated software they had.

The onus is still on Microsoft. Their QA (<img src=smilies/laff.gif>) team should've caught this.

Ok, but I didn't quite catch the origins of these files. Perhaps Microsoft just used SoundForge to create them.

It smells, tastes and sounds like a bunch of anti-MS crap to me, is all i can say.

You seem to have a talking-out-of-your-ass problem. The files had tags at the end that indicated that they were made with a cracked version of Sound Forge.
