I've heard that Rogers (a quite large Canadian ISP) is possibly the worst ISP in the entire world to try and use BitTorrent on. I remember reading a topic about a few people with nightmare scenarios (download speeds dropping off no nothing, no level of encryption helping, needing to change ports every 10 minutes).
I actually use Orange Broadband (a UK ISP recently voted the worst in the country on Watchdog) and have never had any trouble with BitTorrent. Or anything else for that matter. They're a bunch of lazy bastards, but not malicious like some. They leave me alone with my connection, and we pay them for it. End of story.

It's all a matter of what you like. I, for example, think SimCity 3000 is among the best games I've ever played. I'd probably quite like Starcraft 2, were it not for the fact that I now use Linux and have all but given up on PC gaming (though once I get some money and actually follow-through on my plans to build Shizuku, my ultra-powerful next PC, I may give it another go).

Not for voicing an opinion. For being a jackass, a troll, and for giving mods a hard time for no other reason than to give them a hard time. Defiance isn't automatically respectable just for the sake of being defiance. Sometimes (and this case is a perfect example), defiance just makes you look like a schmuck and gets on everyone's nerves.
But I know you're too dense to realize that's what you're doing. You'll just continue to bitch, whine, and throw little hissyfits nobody cares about while trying to convince everybody that the mods are ultra-fascists when they're really just doing their job (and doing it well, at that).
So feel free to discard this post and continue being a douche -- which I'm sure is exactly what you'll do.

See, but the ISP purposefully capping your bandwidth is what pisses me off. I pay good money every month...far be it for them to then screw with my connection. Unless they are gonna give me a partial refund they can go screw themselves. And even then I'd be pretty pissed.
I'm glad I've not had any problems like that. Apparently Time-Warner doesn't give a crap what I do with my internet connection. Anyway, this is neither here nor there, this topic is supposed to be about Starcraft (sorry! ^_^).

I know I'm in the minority here, but I've never actually played Starcraft. I've played all of the Warcrafts(except the mmo incarnation) and enjoyed them. I have no idea why I've never played it either. Mayhap I should pick up the Starcraft battlechest for $20.
