I've got a normal DS and I was wondering if a GBA gameshark/action replay would fit and be able to be used in the DS?

Yeah. The DS is a GBA with other shit built on it. The only thing you can't do is link it with another GBA.

Cool. I asked mainly because someone told me that the gameshark won't work in a DS Lite but they had no clue whether it would fit in a normal DS.

Is it a newer style GBA gameshark, or the older one? I remember hearing that NDS units saw the old one as an Option Pak, though I could be wrong. Apparently if you have some homebrew way of getting around that you can boot it as it should boot (I've heard of people doing this from the DS side, I'm sure there's a GBA side way too, getting it to reboot), the DS just doesn't see it as a regular game pak.
