I dont know if anyone else has had this problem at all...but I installed Firefox 1.0, and now when I try to use IE, it won't resolve any page at all. I can access everything fine with Firefox, but when I use IE...nothing happens. Very odd....is Microsoft tracking me and giving me the "fuck you"? I wouldn't really complain, but my company only supports IE for their remote applications, and I need it to be able to do some late night work....so yeah....any ideas?
My friend had a problem like this after installing Firefox 0.9 before. We had to reinstall his NIC to fix it. See if you can find anything abnormal in IE options first, though.

Try asking someone about your extentions/plugins n' stuff. I don't know what's wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised with the situation your in, that IE! >>See if Mozilla support can help.
