CD Repair solution?

Fuck that shit. Just use Pledge furniture polish in the spray can. Just put a little on a lint free rag and wipe it on. Works faster, no buffing and in tests it has beaten most of the repair kits out there and it's dirt cheap compated to all of them. This does work, I've done it tons of times but like the repair liguid try to get rid of any excess so it doesn't get on the players laser. Hope this helps you out.

On a side note it's incredible on fixing small scratches in glasses but you have to reapply every so often since they are regularly washed and it also washes away the film from the pledge.

Thanks! I was about to put together a concoction of my own, but if can find some pledge around the house. I'll try it. I'll have to do a little experiment first, because the CD's not mine.

Try it on a crappy old audio CD that doesn't play worth a shit and then see if it plays better after. I used pledge on my original Diablo CD so I could make a copy for later reinstallations. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>
