Bahamut Lagoon fuckup

Why the fuck does Bahumat Lagoon slow down in the first battle with Lestat? I gets so slow its unplayable, and I'm on a Athlon64 2.800ghz with 512 megs of RAM. I did a save state and restarted, and when i started playing again the son of bitch still stayed slow.

WTF?

Anyone had this shit happen?

Which patch are you using? The emulator or copier version?

Uhm I dunno. It came prepatched from Vimm's Lair.

Hm, probably. Question for Sabbath...when you boot it up, is look at what Zsnes says about the CheckSum...is it good or bad (this patch has a fixed checksum, meaning it should be ok before and AFTER the patching, if the ROM is a good dump)? If it's bad, the patch was applied to a bad ROM, and so that'd be your problem. With stuff like that you're probably better having the patch and a verified version of the ROM to work with rather than a (quite possibly) crappily pre-patched version of it.
*edit*
That is assuming you're using Zsnes...although I believe SNES9x displays this info as well.

I fixed my problem. I use an old serial port Interact gamepad that I recently found has some sort of short in it. If I move it a certain way the computer thinks its disconnected, thus causing my problem.

I need to get a USB gamead I guess. (But I love my HammerheadFX so much!)

Where's my check?
