I need to get into some new music, so I'd like some recommendation of artists based on my favorite artists, as well as anything else that you guys recommend.

Favorite Artists:
Guns 'N Roses
Rammstein
Reel Big Fish
Blue Man Group
Rage Against The Machine
KoЯn

Any responses will and are greatly appreciated.

New Year's 2001. Moby did a performance live in scotland...01-01-01. MTV replayed it the next day and I recorded it. One of the best sets of music in the world. Next Is The E is totally bangin.

We have similar tastes in music, although I focus mostly on electronic.

For chill, I've been into Thievery Corporation lately. You might recognize their song Lebanese Blonde from Garden State when they go to the hotel.

Bunkka from Oakenfold is an excellent LP. Tunes from that have been used all over the place.

Any song from Kraftwerk. Autobahn and Radioactivity are faves. Daft Punk reminds me a lot of Kraftwerk.

Speaking of Daft Punk, get the LP entitled Homework. The album Discovery has a few good ones, but for $0.99, get the single One More Time.

I have the entire album of Discovery, as well as Interstella 5555; best ones on there are Digital Love, One More Time, HBFS, Something About Us, and Face to Face. The rest have absolutely no lyrics.
Thanks for the suggestions, Sam. I'll look into it.

Just a few bands, that should bring you up to speed. Sounds like you like axe-work.

What I listen to manly at the moment now:

Alice In Chains - great
Audioslave ; try them if you listen to TATM. it's all the members without zach (the lead singer) and with chris cornell
Coheed & Cambria - good, somewhat poetic too
Dragonforce - good everysong from them is about fire or dragons though.
From First to Last ; what, they are very poetic. especially their first studio album
Nine Inch Nails, mostly some of their older stuff though
A Perfect Circle - good
Stone Temple Pilots - anything from them is good
The Scorpions mostly older stuff
Tool - but their older stuff
Velvet Revolver (some of the older members of guns n roses are here.)

note this is just what I listen to alot lately, not my all time favorites

Given what you're already listening to this will probably be a dumb suggestion to make :> But if you haven't yet, get some songs by the Sex Pistols, particularly:

Anarchy in the UK
Holidays in the Sun
God Save the Queen
Friggin' in the Riggin' (which I'm only including because I thought it was hilarious the first time I heard it, not because it's great ;>)
