so, she and i are official broken up...again. long story. of course, this breakup coming after she comes to the club last saturday, pulls me into the office, and declares that she wants to marry me and spend the rest of her life with me because she loves me so much.

i couldn't go with the family last saturday to my grandfather's birthday dinner, so i was thinking of going myself tomorrow to visit and say hi...after all, they (grandparents) are the only sane people left in the world to whom i would spare their life when i takeover the world. they're going to be expecting her to come along. i don't want to tell anyone about this nonsense yet, since we'll probably be back together again this weekend.

man...bad times. bad times. i wish she wasn't a psychotic freak...she wasn't like this when we first got together.

and of course, now i have to deal with this arrogant little prickish asshole at the club...thinks he's the queen of the prom and running the show. some little kid, who followed ME up there, is an overglorified janitor/bartender with a set of keys. he's ALWAYS playing it up, ALWAYS trying to be involved. he took off last weekend so i was "in charge". no problems, no nothing. i did what i always do at the club and did nothing pertaining to "management" save for counting the money at the end of the night. the night was GREAT without his stupid ass there ordering me around. i don't want to complain to the boss about him...i want to be professional about it.

bah.

As far as the club is concerned, you're playing it dead on there. I've a word for guys like that: weasels. They get a set of keys and think they're running the freakin' world. Must have been nice not having him there for a weekend.
As far as the other situation goes, you have my sympathies. I've been married to two of 'em like that. They didn't start out that way either. Hang in there.

it's not like "just a thing" with her...i was deeply in love with her. i always hated baby pictures...i thought kids were ugly as hell...i look at her baby pictures and younger pictures...she's the cutest, most beautiful person i've ever seen.

it absolutely kills me inside to see her treating me like this, acting like this, ruining her life...

Believe me I know what you mean. I was in love with Martha (still am despite her leaving without telling me) for over twenty years now. She's basically ruined herself, and nearly my son in the process. There was something perfect about our whole relationship, even though it didn't end that way. If anyone ever asked me if I'd change anything in my life if I could, I'd tell 'em no. Love like that doesn't come along every day.

Its a huge shock when they start treating you like crap,
but its for you to decide if she will ever stop..

i chose to go away.. maybe i chose wrong.. maybe not..

Its your choice if you wish to accept her ways of treating you..
being alone sucks, but being treated like shit everyday isnt very good either.. /wwwthreads/images/icons/frown.gif

Sounds like she has a close friend that think they know everything and told her to tell you she wants to get married and if it doesn't work tell him it's over and he'll panic, I've had friends whose girlfriends did this out of advise from a friend that they trust and do whatever that friend tells them, and the last of the advise is usually if he doesn't marry you now he doesn't really love you type of advise, ask her if a friend gave her some advise on your relationship*could also be a relative*, and tell her you love her and to stop listening to that person if this is the case. :)

Reminds me...

Reminds me of the joke...
Women are like buses, and eventually you just get a car.

Hang in there, mabey the right bus will be at your stop...
