mkpsf2 Scans a given directory and creates a PSF2 file with all its contents. Source code is included.
NSF Tool NSF Tool is a utility that can edit the song information contained in NSF files. It can also use this information to batch rename your files according to a user defined pattern. Both NSF and the slightly newer NSFe formats are supported.
nsf2midi This is an audio player which loads Nintendo Sound Format (NSF) files and outputs them in MIDI format. You can then proceed to save the output file.

The original program is in Japanese. We also maintain an unofficial English translation of an earlier version of the program.

OldConsoleMusic2OGG Allows you to convert NSF, SPC & HES audio formats to OGG. It converts all subtunes to separate ogg files with desired tune length limit.
PSFPoint PSFPoint is a command-line mass tagger for all PSF file variants. Source code and a 32-bit Windows binary are included.
PSG to WAV File Processor This command-line utility converts ZX-Spectrum .PSG audio files to .WAV format.
Simple PSF Utilities Includes three command-line utilities: bin2psf (Convert any binary file into a PSF file with arbitrary version number. Useful for QSF files and other future sub-formats); exe2psf (Convert a PS-X EXE file to a PSF1 file); and psf2exe (Convert a PSF1 file to a PS-X EXE file). Source code is included, but not commented very well, for all three utilities.
SPC Renamer Use this program to rename the .SPC files from the SNESmusic site to more human friendly names.
SPC to ROM Converter SPC2ROM is a program that takes an SPC file and converts it into a ROM image that can be loaded by an emulator or ROM copier.
SPC Tool A multi-utility program for SPC700 dumps. Emulates the SPC700, edits the ID666 tag in .SPC's, rips .SPC's from .ZST's, rips and changes the BRR data in ROMs, logs DSP output to .WAV and .MID files, contains a complete debugger with disassembler, and other features.
SPC-FIX This program eliminates the length and fade tags from newer SPC files. The purpose is if you like to listen to SPCs as you will rather than obey a set timelimit, and if your player does not allow you to tell it to just ignore that time tag information. This eliminates the length and fader tags (the fader tag is how long the SPC should be fading at its end, unused if there is no time tag) of an SPC file. It will NOT modify an SPC file that does not have this information in it, and will not harm or modify any non-SPC files it is run on.
spc2midi This is an audio player which loads Super Nintendo Sound Format (SPC) files and outputs them in MIDI format. You can then proceed to save the output file.

The original program is in Japanese. We also maintain an unofficial English translation of an earlier version of the program.

tROMbone tROMbone is a utility for converting sound roms from various arcade games into playable .wav files. It is not an emulator, so it can run fine even on a 486. Currently tROMbone only decodes games that used an OKI6295 ADPCM chip for voice/music. TROMbone can also be used as a simple .wav player, as it can play .wav files from the file list.
vbAY vbAY is the DOS player of .VTX, .AZX and .PSG files. It emulates AY-3-8912, that explains 'AY' in the name. It requires a computer with the Sound Blaster compatible sound card if you want the real time sound output or lots of free disk space if you want to prerender the WAVE files to use them somewhere else. It supports sample rates of up to 45454, stereo/mono. vbAY is be able to render the sound in high res.
