Default Chrono Trigger SPCs

I recently was playing a real cart and got up to Lavos and noticed that the track was a lot longer and expanded from what you normally hear. It actually is what you get on the soundtrack. So I loaded up the rom under the same conditions and it was expanded.

So my question is, I think there's some flag in the game that tells the music to play a certain part or not play it. Can this be emulated in SPC players?

Don't know, but I do know someone made a ripped SNES music format that includes a rip for Chrono Trigger. Maybe it's worth looking into.

Minisnsf? Is this something new? Guess I've not been watching the emulation music scene. The Winamp plugin gives errors when loading certain files...

Um, huh...didn't know this had progressed to this degree yet. And btw, if you get the SPC set from snesmusic.org, I'm *pretty* sure that they have an SPC of that extended version. If not, I should have one, so PM me if you don't see it in the "RSN" (RAR) archive of Chrono Trigger there.

*edit*
Haha, I love the names of all the PSF based music plug-ins for Winamp...Highly Quixotic, Highly Advanced, Highly Experimental...now Highly Competitive. O_o
