What do all your names mean?

er
hcs = Halley's Comet Software
Because when I needed a name to put on my software I had a childish interest in astronomy at the time.

Re: What do all your names mean?
I came up with mine several years back. I was in the kitchen with my brother and we were discussing the wacky names we were going to give our kids. Being 12 at the time, I lacked any real sense of creativity, so I just started naming objects I saw in the room. "Fridge", "Sink", "Faucet", "Dish". After I said the last one out loud I actually thought it wasn't that terrible of a name -- in fact I kind of dug it. My brother said it would have to be spelled differently from the word or else it would be too silly... so a 'c' for cool was added and the name "Disch" was born.
A few years later, when we actually got the internet, I adopted it as my own online alias and have been using it since.

uh... I like dragons. So online names started as Dragon add a D for D-Dragon (on the system at the time someone else had Dragon) moved into Drako Dragon. In the future I'll add more D words on as needed.

Re: What do all your names mean?
my name was an exercise in dada. i was talking to a college friend of mine, and told him i wanted to make a screen name that had to have to the word 'lobster' in it. first word i blurted out was 'cowboy'. after i said it, we both laughed pretty hard, so i added it to the end of lobster.
as far as i know, i'm the only lobster cowboy on the internet, yet some cock already registered that name on AIM. i've had the name on my buddy list for three years, and it never comes online (same with Luta Gemma). why the hell doesn't AOL free up screen names that people don't use? you should have to log into your name a minimum of once a year to keep your shit.

Re: What do all your names mean?
Space - I'm an astronomer
Tiger - I'm at Princeton (a tiger is the mascot)
Not very imaginative, I know, but I didn't know this particular name would stick around so long. I've had many others.

Haha, that's a good question... but with the addition of AIM aliases, I don't think they care much. I wanted the name "BrewmasterDan"

First time I played Zelda, I wrote "Dan", and added "oz" to make it sound medieval or cooler or something . Then when I started using online forums I just plugged it in from then on. Now I'm the webmaster of Oz3D.com

Re: What do all your names mean?
Back around '90, I started my own BBS and thought my previous online handle "Bluejay" didn't sound cool enough any more. I was heavily playing Phantasy Star 2 & 3 around then and when I acquired the "Wren" character, being the name of another bird and all, I adopted it. He's the guy that I have set as my avatar.
