Diablo for Famicom

Hey, was just wondering if anyone knew if this Diablo ROM for NES is based off of Diablo 1 or 2?

(I know it says Diablo II, but you never know with pirates)

Hard to say since it's a NES game. Awesomely, it appears you play as Cless (Cress...whatever) from Tales of Phantasia. Looks kind of similar to the chinese pirate version of Minish Cap.

Well, I've never played Diablo 2, so I couldn't tell you which one it's more like. I mean, it has a turn based battle system, right? So really it's not like either of them gameplay wise.

Well, legally speaking it does violate Blizzard trademarks (and possibly copyrights, depending on content), so they could (in theory) object...
