Default Commodore 64 for iPhone released

A new C64 emulator called simply "Commodore 64 for iPhone" can now be found on the iPhone's appstore. It's website is located here. It supports sound, savestates, and the other features you'd expect. It also has a touchscreen representation of the C64 keyboard and joystick that is pretty well done. Obviously we can't offer a download, but go to the appstore to check it out.

[edit]
It would appear to have been pulled from the app store. Details are a bit sketchy, but it appears to have been something to do with the BASIC component of the emulator. Presumably the problem will be fixed and the application will be back shortly.

I wouldn't say Apple fails "each and every time", but I do thoroughly dislike the iPhone App store-only model of software distribution. When I pony up a significant amount of money for something like a smartphone, I want to be able to put any software on it I damn well please.

Yep, I just saw myself that it was pulled. Amended the post appropriately.
