I always find it funny how if you make something that might be used illegally as a computer product (even if it was never intended to be used that way), it's the worst thing in the world, and you're a giant criminal douchebag, completely liable for all crimes committed by people using that software (in fact, you're liable for hypothetical crimes that may or may not have happened). If you make a firearm, a tool originally designed to kill people, and that was refined over hundreds of years to be more effective at killing people, it's completely unreasonable to treat the manufacturer of that tool as responsible for the acts of people who purchase their products.

I guess you missed the case where the company that distributes the Saturday Night Special was held partially liable in a murder a few years ago. And last I knew, firearms were not originally designed to kill people, unless you're one of those PETA fucks that can't tell the difference between a deer and a human.

And guns are specifically designed for killing people and every major advancement in firearms was researched or developed for military purposes. I don't even understand how that's not just accepted. That's Holocaust Denial level of historical revisionism.
