I found this one at OfficeMax. It only costs about $140, but they were sold out of these at the time. I'll get it when it gets back in stock. Too bad there aren't any Best Buys or Circuit City's around here.

Order your monitor online if you want to shop at Best Buy. I'd suggest the Samsung 19" CRT...but I don't know your price range so bleh. Stay away from generic and viewsonic they get returned more often with defects vs anything else we (BestBuy) sell.

Damn. Wish i knew that. I bought a viewsonic and couldnt return it because the people at staples were assholes. Have it 2 weeks and because i did not b uy the usually usless extended warranty they tell me to fuck off. Suffice to say I dont shop there anymore

That sucks, I got a flatscreen at Circuit City and decided I didn't want it a few days later, they said there'd be a large fee since I'd opened the box... but then the guy said "how about I say you returned it because it was defective, then I gave you a new, unopened one, and you return that?"

Sounds like my 19" ViewSonic A90F. Fucking thing less than 3 months old and the power relay went out of it. Sent it back for 50 GODDAMN DOLLARS to get fixed under warranty. They had it for something like 3 weeks before they decided to send back a refurbed model that's never been right since I received it. Same problem... erratic.. and the screen is SHIT.

Sent my dad to Statesboro to get a monitor. He got a StarLogic 17" CRT. It's not flatscreen or anything, but the graphics are sharp and the colors are good too. He also bought a one-year warranty on it. All for under $100.
