I work for a non-profit global health center in Washington, D.C. that combats HIV/AIDs, Malaria, etc. -- I'm not nearly as concerned with domestic politics as I used to be-- and when I finally returned to partisan issues I found myself far less conservative. Interesting,
...I have found myself more and more conservative in my approach to politics over time. I actually have to laugh at some of the BS my sister spouts out now that she is in university (an all girls uni). Daycare for all and garbage of that nature. I pay taxes now and when i see 30 - 40 percent of my money go to taxes without much in return, I cannot imagine the effect that daycare for all would have on them! |
