The current version is getting on a bit though, it's over two years old now. Perhaps http://mednafen.sourceforge.net/Mednafen</a> would be a better first choice these days. The GBA support in that is based on VBA, but with numerous fixes and improvements.

Dear god, thank you for pointing this out! I have been looking for a decent GBA emulator for the Mac for a while now, and Mednafen works wonderfully! You have to compile it yourself (I just used macports to build its' dependants and downloaded/compiled the latest version). but begezus! it's a nice! Better than, surely, Boycott Advance (all r. bannister, pretty much the only mac emulator porter, will release... ugh)! Anywho, once again, a dizzam and a thanks! x infinity
