Internet Explorer 8
Anyone tried it ? It won't bring back Firefox users, but it's certainly an improvement.

I started with the first internet explorer back in the 90's and I'm using firefox now but if what I hear about Google Chrome is true and they add more plugins I think I'll be using that instead just for the security standpoint due to their incredible sandbox design.

Wow, just as I talk about leaving FF for better security the new version 3.08 comes out a few hours later "total surprise for me" and it's got a bunch of new security features and it seems faster also. I might just stay with Firefox after this.

This reminds me that I've started thinking about taking some advice I got through my Mozilla web feeds, and make pointlessness use Comic Sans if viewed in Internet Explorer 6.
As for IE8, never tried it. IEs4Linux only allow for using up to IE6 in the regular version, with a partially-working version of IE7 in the betas (which I've never managed to get working anyway).

If you have virtualbox i.e. you could install multiple IE in a simulated windows instance after upgrading the IE to 7 or 8.
But regarding Comic Sans.... I can't suggest using different fonts for different browsers. In my opinion a website should be the same in all browser. Same look, same behaviour. I would be irritated when I'm a visitor who used to read your page in Firefox and then use IE for any reason and come back and everything looks... different.
@Cornellius:
As webdeveloper I have to use all current browsers and at least the previous versions. I mainly use Firefox but I hate the sometimes lame speed and memory consumption..... If I want to surf fast I use K-Meleon. But there I miss some graphical things. It's mozilla based but stripped to the necessary minimum.
But don't be irritated. My computers are all more or less "slow" in general.

Have you tried Opera ? It's pretty fast without being a memory hog, if I remember well.

Yes of course. But I miss the firebug extension there. That's why I use Firefox.

Yeah, I understand that. I myself, miss Adblock Plus and Flashblock... But I just love Opera's fullscreen mode

Yeah, I'll probably do that later on.

Too late, I already did it. I'm betting almost no one views my site in IE6 anyway, and the font change is only for IE6, so IE7 or IE8 are fine.

I'm running windows 7 beta right now, so it came with internet explorer 8 beta. I've always preferred internet explorer over mozilla and the likes, but right now im running mozilla, because my version of internet explorer 8 doesn't display tables/divs well, so facebook does not seem to work well for me. But since it's a Beta, I can understand it having bugs. I'm guessing i'll enjoy the final product, since it's similar to ie 7 anyways.
