Aw man, i was hoping you'd remember.

Well, I posted a joke about why the toothbrush was invented in a certain state. It actually insulted a girl by the name of Brooke, who I think still posts here.

it was really dumb.

don't feel bad... I got banned because of that same girl...

here's how it goes

1. guy A offends girl in forum
2. girl has vagina
3. all males in forum want said vagina
4. all males gang up on guy A in defence to girl hoping that they will get props/impress her
5. all moderators are male and decide to ban guy A
6. Guy A is screwed

A loooong time ago, I was playing the original Diablo over battle.net using my old alias SnowbaFett. I ran into a complete asshole in one of my games. His name happened to be "weedeater". He mentioned that he had a clan or something, so I got the genius idea of attempting to join his clan and take it down from the inside...or something. Hey, I was a kid, it sounded smart at the time!

So I left the game and got the idea that maybe if someone joined that same game with a name that sounded similiar to his, he would think it was cool. I looked around my desk and the first thing I saw was a floppy disk. Thus, "Diskeater".

I know, kinda lame. But it isn't a bad name at all.

Edit: Oh yeah, almost forgot...great topic!

I was in high school and we did vocabulary words. We had to write out sentences for the words and one of them was clangor. I wrote "The pipes clangor all the time." as a joke. Then when I was thinking of a SN for myself I thought of that first off. Back in 96 when I first got online I called myself roadkill.

take note also, that i've always held on to the theory that when brad made that name he was having a subconscious urge to reveal to us his true nature as a pathological agent.

Well, its a long and compicated story....well, not really. Back in 1996 when I had just found out the true power of the Pentium 90, and discovered what joy a 28.8 modem could bring, and zip archived pr0n (thanks Swamp ) I started out on ICQ as IceMan. This was largely in part b/c I played hockey, and well, I liked being on the ice. However, little did I know, there was a certain character in a certain 80's movie with that name, and I didnt want to be thought as a said "lamer" for stealing a name from a blonde haired fighter pilot. So, when the time came to get on to the wonders of IRC Undernet (#gbinfow anyone?), I needed something less cliche. So, there on my desktop was the icon to the Seawolf game. Well, I hated the sea, but wolf was cool, so slap the Ice and Wolf together....bam, IceWolf. Now for the infamous '20'. When attempting to sign on to Undernet, I was informed that there already was an IceWolf on the server....grrr....now what to do?! So, at the time, I had been playing hockey (possibly the best season of my life) and I wore the number 20. I had wanted 13 origionally, but the only jersey that fit me was 20, so since I had such a good season with 20, I slapped it on the end, thus IceWolf20 was born.... 9 years and counting, w00t!
