Oh, so GameCube is cool
Well, I didnt pay attention to GCN until I started to play Windwaker recently over my friends house, now I want one. What are some good games for GCN that are only for GCN, since I already own a PS2. Oh yea, no Metroid Prime, I dont like the Metroid game as a FPS.

Have you tried playing the game a bit? I was skeptical at first too until playing it.

Try it man. Retro actually did a great job on Prime 1 and 2. Seriously. I was a staunch supporter of the 2D Metroid view. But then I played them. Personally I think Prime is better than Prime 2, but that's me.
Just give them a try. =)

Anything with Mario in the title.
Zelda Four Swords
Both Resident Evl remakes
That's for starters.

Re: Oh, so GameCube is cool
I didn't like Prime; it got old fast. If you like Metroid tho, I'm sure you would like it.
Pick up Zelda, Soul Calibur II, Animal Crossing....and that might be it. I wasn't a fan of Sunshine, it felt like a crappy version of Mario 64.
Oh, you might want to check out Super Monkey Ball 2 (or whatever is the latest version). That game was a lot of fun.

Uh... Both remakes?
The only "remake" was Resident Evil. 2, 3, and Code Veronica were ports, as I recall. 0 and 4 were originals.

Another that I'm going to guess no one else will mention is Tales of Symphonia. Great story and one of the best battle systems in an RPG ever...like Tales of Phantasia's battle system on crack.

Well, that's gonna hurt then, because I've only played about 5 or 6 games, and 2 of those are MP1 and MP2, both of which are 2 of the best games I've ever played (and also happen to be 2 of the last games I've played thoroughly).
Tales of Symphonia rules. Phantasy Star Online is fun too. If you liked Sonic or Mega Man, get those collections to go on nostalgic trips. There you go...that's my GCN experience, lol. Still, back when I actually had free time on the large TV in the living room, playing MP1 when that came out was like experiencing a movie. The last time I had gone gaga 5+ hours a day playing a game was Mario 64, and before that it was the likes of FF3 and Chrono Trigger. I consider it more like if Mario was a first-person game (or at least close to it). It's definitely not an FPS where you just go around and kill shit. I probably spent more time scanning things and looking for secrets than I ever did killing anything. Especially with how little it costs to buy now, I would definitely recommend MP1, and if you like it, then get MP2.
