Default PCMCIA n00b question

I have never used a PCMCIA card in my life until now. recently i get a network card. problem is, i can't get the thing to go in the slot! there are no dust covers or anything blocking it, and i checked that i'm plugging a type II card into a type II slot. the card goes in most of the way, but it won't seat on the pins. am i missing anything?

Neither did I, I googled "properly inserting a type 2 pcmcia card" and it was the first result.

...rereading that sentence, that phrase is actually kind of funny.

But you are welcome! <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>
