Default Let the suffering end...

Ugh, I absolutely hate this aspect of summer..... the damn humidity!

But we've all been there, at least I can thank mother nature for waiting until July this year until bombarding us with the unbearable shit. Not like last year, when we were slammed in May... This is the only reason why I hate living in northern Minnesota. Cooking has ceased until October now...

I do hope it's not this bad for the rest of you. Now the attempt to sleep begins...

I can't stand it when days are really humid. It gets like that here sometimes, and it's just bad when it does.

I share your pain. I remember when I used to live in New Jersey, it would get so damp and humid that the walls in my home would appear to sweat. At least in New Jersey I could retreat to my air conditioned room, in Pennsylvania, we have yet to purchase an air conditioner and I don't think we will. My mom's boyfriend told her, "in Pennsylvania you don't an air conditioner, a ceiling fan is all you need." Bull-fucking-shit, that's a damn lie! At night I sleep with my ceiling fan on high and my window fan also on high, and I still sweat like a pig! I'm going to save up the money for my own air conditioner, and let those two suffer in the heat.

That really sucks, while there was a two day break, today is another full assault of sticky and wet. At least it appears not many others have to put up with this...

Right now the computer room is the hottest room in the house since it has no air conditioners or fans in it. Right now I'm calling it the "Hell Room".

Reminds me of Acapulco.

It's not so bad here in Utah, mainly because of one of the few advantages to living in a desert. It's extraordinarily hot, but also very dry, so you can use swamp coolers to chill things out on the cheap.

Heh, you should try Singapore sometime. Equatorial climate, and rain 40% of the time. I didn't feel clean for a moment of the time I spent there. Tons of fun. Needless to say I've not complained about the weather anywhere since - and coming from a Scotsman, that's saying something. :P
