Default Your favorite new album?

I just recently listened to the new(est) album by Rammstein called "Reise, Reise". I really like it, it has alot of really good tracks on it. Moskau and Amerika are among the ones I really like. I'm probably in the minority of people in this country who actually will/do/would like the Amerika track--since it pokes fun at this country.

So what recently released album do you guys or gals like?

Maybe not recent (released like six months ago or something like that) but I'm currently jamming to "Funeral" by Arcade Fire.

Best album of 2004, no contest.

Sigur Rós - Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do
Bloody stupid title, but a great EP nonetheless from one of my favorite bands of the monent. I just got their first album, Von yesterday as well, which I'd recommend to any fans.

Doves - Some Cities
Follow-up to The Last Broadcast, which absolutely everyone should own a copy of. This new one's not quite as good, unfortunately, but it comes pretty close occasionally.

The Libertines - The Libertines
Shambolic. Beautiful. At least make sure you hear 'Can't Stand Me Now', 'The Ha Ha Wall' and 'What Became Of The Likely Lads?' before you die.

Brian Wilson - SMiLE
Obviously.

Nick Cave - Abbatoir Blues / The Lyre Of Orpheus
I'm not usually a Nick Cave fan, or a fan of double albums generally, but this is a pretty amazing album at times. It'd have been even better if he'd been brave enough to cut it down to one disc, but all the same it's worth owning just to have 'There She Goes, My Beautiful World', 'Nature Boy', 'Messiah Ward', 'Let the Bells Ring' and 'Get Ready For Love'

I think that'll do for now.

These are new with respect to them being the latest albums by each artist (2004). I listen to them all regularly.

Sasha - Involver
Tiesto - Parade Of The Athletes
Sasha and Tiesto are the finest DJ's to have ever lived and their latest, respective works live up to their world reknown reputations as being such. I would honestly say that one of these two CD's has been in my Discman 75% of the time within the past 6 months.

AIR - Talkie Walkie
Everything made by AIR is simply beautiful. Though I prefer Moon Safari, after seeing them perform Talkie Walkie live, I bought the album immediately.

Stereolab - Margerine Eclipse
Stereolab has done surprisingly well even with the loss of Mary Hansen (R.I.P.), which makes Margerine Eclipse an understandable departure from their previous works.
