Default the end of an (hippie) era

After losing my job of four years at my respectable software company, i took a brief hiatus - 2 years. I had never been without work since my early teens. so learning about life through this perspective was well needed.

so i lived off my severance package, collected unemployment for a while, then went to alaska to work for the summer - buying me some more time to live this hippie, free from life-entaglements, lifestyle.

that all ended 2 months ago when i got another job for another respectable software company. and they even threw in a management position for me. hahah. so what an adjustment. it's been a crazy couple months. but i've finally started to feel somewhat in my own skin.

i'll drink to that.

Unemployed adventures. Irreplaceable. <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif> I have some fond memories of those kinds of times. Its nice, in many ways. Of course, having money to buy things that you want is just as good.
