Default Best DS games

I've recently found a source of cheap and (apparently, I don't ask questions) legal DS games. I know I want New Super Mario Bros, but I'm not sure what else. So I'm asking here.

I play pretty much any genre, so I really want to get a big list of the best games that I can then narrow down.

Seconded. (It's the origin of my avatar.) I'll also add Mario Kart DS and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

Trauma Center
Brain Age + Academy
Mario Kart
Metroid Prime
Tetris
Polarium
Animal Crossing
Nintendogs

All standard games, but they are all fantastic.

I'd have to agree with castlevania also, its not too bad.

Now, my selections:

Ouendan (J) - touchscreen based rhythm game, most people who've played it will tell you its great.

Rockman ZX/Megaman ZX - not too bad of a platformer, if not a little 'where the fuck is that place?'-ish, its a personal choice on which version, japanese version has voice overs for almost all text spoken, us version doesn't, but does have english text and subbed cutscenes. might be a good choice if you liked the zero series.

Pokemon mystery dungeon is ok for a while, but a bit irritating at times. wouldnt have too much replay value either though i'd think.

with the other already covered ones I'd say thats about the best i could list, without you actually being genre specific. Oh yeah, under no circumstances are you to play Y's strategy, fucking horrible, i'd dare class it as worse graphically than the snes one.

If you like Star Wars try out Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. Otherwise everyone else pretty much covered it. That is until Nov. when FFIII comes out.

I also want to say that she should look out for 'Elite Beat Agents' when it comes out (soon if I'm not mistaken). Isn't that game like a sequel to Ouendan? Anyway, just played a demo of it, and even though it's only a part of the first song I really want more.

Two I haven't seen mentioned are:

Starfox Command (plays rather like Starfox 2 with a bit of 64 mixed in, alongside some simple strategy type elements)
Meteos (very fun puzzle game)

Knew I forgot one. Meteos can get crazy hard real quick if you're not paying attention.
