Default Light Gun SNES9X

I've been using SNES9X, and have a craving for old Super Scope games, like Metal Combat. I want to play with a light gun, as the mouse just doesn't do it for me. I've got an LCD tv. What will work for me?

I saw a thread on another site that talked about the Aimtrak. I also saw that the Topgun 2 works on LCD tvs. Suggestions?

If a gun works on other light gun games and emulators, that would be a plus. But my primary goal is playing super scope games the way they were intended.

All you'll need to do is code in light gun support for SNES9x. Fortunately, it's open source, so you have everything you need. Assuming you have the technical specifications on how the super scope works.

The TopGun II does the job, as long as the Emulator/Game supports Mouse input.
You can use this gun on several M.A.M.E Lightgunshooters as well e.g.
